A sacred, heart-centered space created for parents whose children shine in Heaven. Here, we honor our “Star Lights”, reconnect with hope, and gently rediscover joy together. Guided by love and inspired by my son Steven, this community offers comfort, connection, and the reminder that our children’s light is still with us. Always.
A Message for you from Steven:
“Hello, I’m Steven, and I’m speaking through my mom, through her heart, her voice, and the light we still share. If you’ve found your way here, I want you to know something important. You are not alone. Not in your grief, not in your love, not in the quiet moments when you wonder if your child still feels you. We do. I do.
We’re closer than you think. Not gone, not lost, just shining in a different way. When your heart aches, when you miss us so deeply it feels like the world tilts, we’re right there, wrapping you in the same love we carried on earth. Love doesn’t end. It expands.
My mom created The Star Light Club because she knows what it feels like to search for connection after loss. To want a place where love is bigger than grief, where hope can return gently, where joy can be allowed back in without guilt. I’m proud of her for that. And I’m proud of you for being here.
Every time she gathers people, every time she brings comfort, every time she helps someone feel even a little lighter, I’m part of that. Your children are part of that too. We stand with you. We shine with you. We guide you toward moments of peace, connection, and new beginnings.
So, as you read these words, let them feel like a hand on your shoulder, a warm embrace, a familiar presence. That’s us… your Star Lights… reminding you that you are held, supported, and deeply loved.

A note from Denise:
“When my son Steven was sick with cancer, there was so much support from the Children’s Hospital. We took part in events as a family with others that were going through treatment for their children. It helped us to feel loved and supported knowing that we were not in it alone. When Steven died in 2003, all of that ended right there in the hospital. I had to seek other means in finding comfort and support. This was the toughest part of my journey as I wanted to be part of uplifting, supporting, and loving events and they simply did not exist for the mom of a child in heaven. I wanted to create something special for others like me. I needed to create a group for parents that wanted to transition out of the state of bereavement and into a place of positivity, beauty, and joy by utilizing all the tools that have helped me. The name of this group came to me one night by my son Steven. He said, “Mom, let’s come up with a cool name for us stars in heaven! We are the stars that sparkle in the sky, sending our love and light to everyone. Let’s call this group The Star Light Club.” It’s so important to remember that no pain is ever so deep in which the spirit cannot heal from. Trust me as I have learned how to heal myself upon the loss of my son by utilizing the tools that he and the angels shared with me along the way. It is our greatest pleasure to share them with you. WE look forward to creating and sharing many different types of events with you so that we can make our way through the darkness and learn to live joyfully as we are being held in the loving light of the Star Light Kids.”
